In Europe she has been privileged to guest teach for amongst others: Geneva Ballet,
Tanz Werk Nuernberg, Ballet Freiburg, Basel Tanztheater, the Bruckner Conservatory, Berlin's
Dance in August, Cologne Dance Agency, Modern Dance Turkey, the Linz Ballet, Dance Workplace
in Copenhagen, Vienna's Tanz * Hotel. In London she taught at Millennium Dance 2000,
a leading Performing Arts University, for two and one half years, at the Gielgud Foundation
and for Jeannette Brooks' company, The Dance Movement.
She has also worked as a Director of Rehearsals and Assistant-to-the-Director
for companies in the US and Europe and Donna qualified to teach the Zena Rommett
Floor-Barre Technique® in NYC.
She has choreographed pieces for the Smithy Gallery NY, Minnesota Ballet School,
Dansummer, Colorado, Jean Cocteau Repertory Theatre NYC, Dance Now NYC, and
Theater aus der Zeche, Germany. Her first piece created for Minnesota Ballet
used an original score by a German composer Steffen Schmidt and toured throughout the US.
In July '03 she CO-created a dance work in London with Penelope Freeh supported by a Jerome
Foundation grant and this received its premiere in September ’05 in Minneapolis.
Donna’s second piece for Minnesota Ballet premiered in February 2007 to original music by London artist
Kris Derry.
Her latest guest teaching engagements were for Robert Hylton’s Urban Classicism and for Laban in London .
